The Au Pair Study Agency Team (APSA) with
their Au Pairs
Au Pairs, Au Pair English Classes, Au Pairs for Seniors, Demi Au pairs, Intern Placements in Ireland (I.P.I), and High School Au Pair Program.
Au pairs are placed in a family in south Dublin (within walking or bus distance of the school) and take classes two evenings per week. Au Pairs are encouraged to take the Cambridge exam course; however general English classes are available. Au pairs are required to pay three months in advance.
Au pairs are placed in a family in Ireland. The Au Pair chooses her destination (e.g. Cork, Sligo etc). At the Au pair’s request the agency can organise classes however this is not included in the program.
Any experience in a ‘career’ capacity will really help. Au pairs must have some relevant experience and/ or knowledge of how to treat and care for an elderly person. A driver’s license is very helpful but not essential.
We are founding members of the Irish Au pair Association which endeavours to set in place policies and procedures to protect both Au Pairs and host families. We are working hard to lobby for a minimum standard for Au Pair agencies in Ireland.
Our aim is clear– to provide the highest quality program for Au Pairs so that they have the best possible cultural exchange program and host families by providing flexible and affordable childcare or senior care/companionship.
We are always evaluating our programs to make sure we are offering the best possible standards to both parents and Au Pairs. We are the only agency to set up our Au Pair for seniors program which has been one of our best services to date.
